With only four years of life, Giphy managed to overcome to Twitter and Snapchat in number of active users. The search engine reached the 200 million people on a daily basis, while other networks received 140 and 165 million users, respectively.
Much of its success is due to the support of Facebook, Twitter and IMessage, since many users come across these social networks, which have integrated the service of GIFs.
Giphy does not have any system allowing its shareholders to receive money by these numbers. Therefore, the company announced that it will soon introduce sponsored GIfs.
This search engine could become a giant if the use of these animated images are as popular as the emojis. By now, you already got to position itself among the best.
